Zenith "Nita" Dykstra, 79, of Honolulu, died Friday. She was born in Louisiana. She is survived by daughters Della E. Novak and Katina Rae, brother Ted Wiggins, nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Private burial at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl.

Takeno Hashitate, 89, of Aiea, a homemaker, died Sept. 24 in Kapiolani Medical Center at Pali Momi. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by son Earl, brother Mack Hamada, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Private services.

Lillian Ayako Hikichi, 83, of Honolulu, a homemaker, died Sept. 29 in Leahi Hospital. She was born in Waipahu. She is survived by husband Herbert; son Bert; daughter Pamela Chong; sisters Irene Furuta, Molly Okimoto and Helen Saito. Services: noon Saturday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Barbara Miguel Layne, 82, of Honolulu, died Wednesday in Straub Clinic and Hospital. She was born in Kula, Maui. She is survived by husband Rex, son George Nobriga, daughters Juliette Wright and Beverly Santos, brother Lawrence Miguel, seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Tualauta E. Levale, also known as Tualauta E. Timu, 68, of Honolulu, a retired Del Monte Cannery foreman, died Sept. 21. He was born in American Samoa. He is survived by sons Tualauta "J.R.," Edmund "Tafu" and John "Blacko"; daughters Rosita Resture, Caroline "Taimane" Maika, Florence "Flo" Pitolua, Diane "Dee" Ifopo and Patsy "Paddy" Faamasino; sisters Toafa Leaupepe, Toalua Feagaimaalii, Falesoa "Lina" Leae, Faamoe Holewyne and Faleteine Falefia; 29 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Judith Tokie Miyata, 61, of Wahiawa, owner of Mililani Pets, died Sept. 27. She was born in Honolulu. Helen Ishi Nakamura, 94, of Honolulu, a retired Nortex assembly line employee, died last Monday in Ka Punawai Ola. She was born in Kahuku. Rosita Rosario Singson, 77, of Hilo, a retired cook, died Friday in Honolulu. She was born in Papaaloa, Hawaii. Kikue Townsend, 85, of Honolulu, a retired dental assistant for the Air Force, died Sept. 27 in the Ponds at Punaluu. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Richard and James; brothers George, Herbert and Wallace Kobayashi; sisters Eleanor Yamamoto and Nellie Matsunami; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Eugene Kiyoshi Yojo, 54, of Kapolei, a management executive for Hawaiiana Management Co. Ltd., died Tuesday. He was born in Waialua.
