Richard Dorin "Uncle Boy" "Dickie" English Jr., 58, of Paia, Maui, a construction worker, died Sept. 21 in Wailuku. He was born in Paia, Maui. Michlyn Herring-Duhaylonsod, 44, of Waikele, a kumu hula for Na Keiki O Puliki Hoopili, died Sept. 15. She was born in Ewa. Kiyoshi "Jimmy" Higa, 81, of Kaneohe, a retired shoe salesman and a member of the 442 Infantry Regiment, died Sept. 15 in Castle Medical Center. He was born in Papaaloa, Hawaii. Juanita Momi Wong Howell, 83, of Lanikai, owner and teacher at Lanikai Private School, died Sept. 20 in Utah. She was born in Sprecklesville, Maui. Edward Sadao Saito, 87, of Wahiawa, a WWII veteran and a retired federal civil servant, died May 25 in Seattle. He was born in Paauhau, Hawaii. He is survived by daughters Ellin, Susan and Judith; and three grandchildren. His ashes were interred at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl.

Stephen George Hanohano Salvador, 60, of Waianae died Sept. 9 in St. Francis West Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. Joseph Kepa "Old Man Joe" Santos, 81, of Honolulu, a retired Hawaiian Telephone Co. linesman, died Wednesday in Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu.
