tryan@starbulletin.comIn "Together Again," Conway and Korman re-create sketches from the Burnett show and perform individual stand-up routines.
Conway became a regular on "The Steve Allen Show" in the 1950s before becoming a featured performer in "McHale's Navy." He became a sought-after guest performer, appearing on virtually every national TV variety show for the next 20 years and starring in three variety specials of his own.
Korman's greatest gift may be his versatility. He can be a quintessential "straight man," grabbing laughs with just an expression on his face, or equally comfortable doing a monologue. He earned four Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award for his work on the Burnett show and starred in his own show in 1977. Korman was also an in-demand guest star during the heyday of the variety television show from the 1960s through the 1980s.
