Give us da scoops
on holiday eventsIt's September, so that means Christmas will be here in two weeks, or at least it seems that way.
That means that a whole spate of craft fairs and events will take place between now and mid-December and we wouldn't want to send you out there ill-prepared.
So here are some calendar deadlines for our master lists. Don't worry if you don't yet have your act together (we understand perfectly). We'll always have room for late additions in smaller weekly calendars.
>> Craft fairs: Due Sept. 27Answer those basic journalism questions when you submit your listings, as in when, where, what, and who you gonna call for more information?
>> Halloween events: Due Oct. 4
>> Christmas events: Due Nov. 20If you have any photos of past events send those along also. We'll accept your duplicate (no photos will be returned) photos, slides or jpegs. Make sure the backgrounds are light and uncluttered and the subject matter is in focus.
Send the details to: Craft fairs/Halloween/Christmas, Honolulu Star-Bulletin, 500 Ala Moana, 7-210, Honolulu, HI 96813. You can also e-mail the information to features@starbulletin.com.
