An estimated 8,000 to10,000 residents were on hand to enjoy the local entertainment available on six stages. Volunteers were also preparing floats last night for today's main event, the 55th Annual Floral Parade.

The Hilton Hawaiian Village was clearing out mold-contaminated furniture from its Kalia Tower yesterday. Jake Faapepele moved some refrigerators out of a holding area, while framed artwork was stacked and ready to go.
