A seminar on "Justice for Marshall Islanders" who suffer physical illnesses as a result of U.S. nuclear testing will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Harris United Methodist Church.

Five Marshall Island residents who lobbied Congress members this month in Washington, D.C., will speak at the workshop.

The residents of Bikini, Rongelap, Enewetak and Utirik sought restoration of federal funding of medical care for the people with illnesses caused by the South Pacific tests from 1946 to 1962.

Their visit to Hawaii is sponsored by the Harris church and society committee, the United Church of Christ Pacific Islander and Asian American Ministries and the State of Hawaii Volunteer Services.
