[ PREVIEW ]

The following is a preview of movies opening this Friday:

"Barbershop" >> A son (Ice Cube) impulsively sells his father's South Side Chicago barbershop to a local loan shark and soon realizes the neighborhood parlor is a blessing and a legacy, not a burden. But how will he ever "coif up" the cash to buy it back? The ensemble comedy also features Cedric the Entertainer, Sean Patrick Thomas and rapper Eve as fellow haircutters hoping to help him out. (PG-13)

"One Hour Photo" >> Robin Williams continues his journey through "the dark side" as an actor, portraying a pale, pasty, psychotic film processor who becomes obsessed with a family after developing their idyllic snapshots and tries to creep his way into their domestic bliss. (R)

"Stealing Harvard" >> Jason Lee plays a doting, hard-working uncle with a niece bound for the Ivy League school -- that is, provided he can foot the $30,000 tuition bill in two weeks. Desperate, he takes advice from his underachieving, bad-influence buddy (Tom Green), and they begin a life of harebrained petty crimes. (PG-13)
