Early voting begins
today on 5 islands

Registered voters who want to vote early may do so at any of the Early Vote (Absentee-Walk) sites beginning today through Sept. 19.

Voters should bring picture identification. Locations and times are as follows:

CITY & COUNTY OF HONOLULU

Honolulu Hale (main courtyard), 8 a.m.-4 p.m. today through Saturday, and next Monday to Sept. 19.

Koko Marina Shopping Center, 2nd Floor, Building D, above Bubbies, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. today through Saturday, and next Monday to Sept. 19.

Pearlridge Satellite City Hall, 2nd Floor, Uptown, next to JC Penney, 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. today through Friday; 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday; and 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. next Monday to Sept. 19.

Windward Mall, 2nd Floor, next to Sears, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. today through Friday, and next Monday to Sept. 19.

COUNTY OF MAUI

>> Maui -- Office of the County Clerk, 200 S. High St., 7th Floor, Wailuku, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. today through Friday and next Monday to Sept. 19.

>> Molokai -- Mitchell Pauole Center, 90 Ainoa St., Kaunakakai, 8 a.m.-noon, 1-4 p.m. today through Friday and Sept. 17-19.

COUNTY OF KAUAI

Historic County Building, 4396 Rice St., Lihue, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. today through Friday, and next Monday to Sept. 19.

COUNTY OF HAWAII

Hilo Early Vote site has all ballot types. All other sites have only the ballot types for their area. Hawaii County voters should call the County Clerk's Elections Division at 961-8277 for more information.

Hilo County Building, 25 Aupuni St., Hilo, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. today through Saturday, and next Monday to Sept. 19.
