Rosie, a toy silver poodle, sat patiently yesterday as her owner, Shirley-Ann K. Leu, set her hair for competition in the Hawaiian Kennel Club's Annual All Breed Dog Show at Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. The competition continues today with judging beginning at 8:30 a.m. Tickets are $5 -- children 12 and under are free -- and can be bought at the Blaisdell box office.

David Crowder and his wife, Kimberly, took shelter under a towel yesterday as light showers swept over the Power Jam Concert at the Victoria Ward parking lot. Dave & Buster's sponsored the concert, which featured entertainers like Yasmeen and Darrell Labrado and was a benefit for Aloha United Way's Annual Community Care Fund.
