Women Making Music
NO LIMITZ AT ALA MOANA: No Limitz -- sisters Joni, Mandy and Annie Llamedo, from left -- took another step toward stardom as they headlined a one-hour show at Ala Moana Center Saturday. The trio featured original songs off their upcoming album with an assist from producer Chazz Lyons, rapper/emcee SKI and two backing musicians. The Tradewinds soul trio also performed.
Sunday NIGHT LIVE: Ilona Irvine and Bobby King relaxed between shows during the "End of Summer Bash" at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani on Sunday. King leads the resident quartet at the hotel and co-stars with Irvine each Sunday; she'll be moving to Friday nights there as of Sept. 13.
HOMEGIRL COMES HOME: MCA Records recording artist Yasmeen (in blue) celebrated the success of her debut single, "Blue Jeans," with her brother, Sterling Sulieman (in red), and her managers, Steve Freedman and Marty Garcia, at the Hawaiian Hut on Saturday. I-94's Big Teeeze was on the mic, and Tani Lynn Fujimoto was in the house, for Yasmeen's homecoming mini-concert.
