The theme of this year's festival is "Ichimadin Kanaganaatu -- Forever Embracing." Chiguko Yashiro, left, and Toshiko Nakamoto enjoyed the festivities yesterday. There were cultural tents featuring experts on genealogy, language, Okinawan tattoos and more.
