Jason Tangalin threw up a lot of spray yesterday as he executed a powerful cutback on a nice 3-foot wave. He was surfing the Point Panic Lefts, well out of the body surf zone. A new south swell has been forecast to arrive today or tomorrow.

The 22nd Annual Greek Festival that was held yesterday at McCoy Pavilion at Ala Moana Park showcased Greek culture. Maryellen Michaelidis, left, and Dianna Graves dressed in traditional Greek folk attire and demonstrated traditional dancing for the crowd. The festival continues today from noon to 9 p.m..
