Sweet, dude!
Hawaii’s honey is on TV

The Volcano Island Honey Company, who produce Rare Hawaiian Organic White Honey, will be featured on the Wolfgang Puck Show on the Food Network tomorrow. Big-shot chef, restaurateur and Food Network personality Puck joins beekeeper Richard Spiegel for a walk among Big Island beehives as they discuss the production of this locally made honey. The show was filmed in the Puako kiawe forest and at the Volcano Island Honey Co. farm on the Big Island.

Volcano Island Honey Company is a family owned business that has been producing from a single kiawe forest on the Big Island for 25 years.

National Geographic Traveler Magazine described them as a "food artisan company" that puts "passion and heart" into its products. National Geographic Traveler even called Rare Hawaiian Organic White Honey "some of the best honey in the entire world," and Discovery Channel's Epicurious TV show called the honey "a miracle."
