A ceremony commemorating the 57th anniversary of the bombing of Nagasaki was held yesterday at the Nagasaki Peace Bell on the Civic Center grounds behind Honolulu Hale. From left, Marsha Joyner, Yoshie Tanabe, Kristen Cheong and Saya Hattori rang the bell during the ceremony. Hattori was visiting from Nagoya, Japan. The Nagasaki Peace Bell was donated to Honolulu by the Nagasaki Atomic Radiation Survivors Friendship Association.
