Quigley to play in
Turtle Bay tourney

Dana Quigley has added his name to the star-studded field of the $1.5 million Turtle Bay Championship, set for Oct. 4-6, at the Turtle Bay Resort's Palmer Course.

Quigley has six victories since joining the Senior PGA Tour in 1997, including the 2002 Siebel Classic in Silicon Valley. He also ranks sixth on the current money list with $1,162,743.

Quigley will join 2002 Senior U.S. Open winner Don Pooley and defending champion Hale Irwin in the three-day tournament.

Irwin, who represents the Hokuli'a Golf Club in Kona, is the leading money-winner on the senior circuit with $1,712,106.

Admission is $10, or $20 for a special three-day pass.

Mauna Kea hosts AT&T Stroke Play tournament

The 2002 AT&T Stroke Play Championship will begin tomorrow morning at the Mauna Kea Golf Course.

Pearl Country Club pro Kevin Hayashi will be back to defend his title in the pro division. Larry Stubblefield will also defend his crown in the senior division.

The 54-hole competition ends on Wednesday.
