Outriggers Hodge
cruises into retirementBryon Hodge retired as VP of Outrigger's condo and resort division July 26 and turned 60 the next day. A few days before he retired, his boss, Barry Wallace, walked him over to the Shore Bird in the Reef Hotel for a drink. Before long, four of Bryon's managers and his replacement came walking up the beach from an outrigger canoe. A security guard told him to follow the men back to the canoe. As one of the guys held a parasol over his head, Bryon said, "I only travel first class and I want a cocktail." A mai tai appeared and they paddled off to the Outrigger Waikiki where some 40 people were waiting on Duke's private party lanai.
