She is survived by husband Horace, sons John and Mike Ahlstrom, stepdaughter Dianna L. Garland and three grandchildren. No services.

Pedro Mercado DeCasa, 92, of Keauhou, Hawaii, a retired Keauhou Golf Course groundskeeper, died Sunday in Kona Life Care Center. He was born in the Philippines. He is survived by son Gabriel; daughters Fel Pabre, Sal Amaldi, Mercy Henriques, Connie Hunnungs and Julita Jo Texeira; brothers Nicolas and Erenio; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four hanai grandchildren. Grace Clementina Hunt, 85, of Keaau, Hawaii, a retired minister for the Unity Church in California, died Tuesday at home. She was born in Australia. Kay Katsuyo Iwai, 76, of Kaneohe, a retired Podmore Construction bookkeeper, died Sunday in Castle Medical Center. She was born in Lahaina. Paz Caranguian Javier, 63, of Waianae, a retired cannery worker for Salmon Cannery in Alaska, died July 9 in Providence Alaska Medical Center. She was born in the Philippines. She is survived by husband Delfin; son Danilo; daughters Rosalina Tamaray, Melita Batoto and Edna Javier; brother Pedro Caranguian; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
