"The Electric Kitchen" airing in the second half of July -- "Young Cooks" -- features 4-H Club members. "Electric Kitchen" airs at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, 8 p.m. Monday, 5 p.m. Tuesday and 6 p.m. Thursday on Oceanic Cable Channel 16.

Here is a recipe from Erica Kunihisa of the Cloverkids 4-H Club. All the recipes from the show, as well as an archive of recipes dating to 1995, are available at the Hawaiian Electric Co. Web site, www.heco.com.

Hot Artichoke Appetizer

1 jar (6 ounces) marinated artichoke hearts
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Crackers or baguette slices

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Drain and rinse artichokes; chop coarsely. Combine with mayonnaise and cheeses; mix well. Place in a casserole dish. Bake 20 to 30 minutes or until bubbly. Serve with crackers or baguettes. Makes about 3 cups.
