Leoncio "Leon" Bartido Caoili, 93, of Honolulu died July 2. He was born in the Philippines. He is survived by wife Luzviminda "Minda" and daughter Annie Caoili. Clifford Kaleilani Choy, 69, of Kailua, a Hawaiian Airlines chief agent, died Thursday in Castle Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Estelle, daughters Stephanie Chapman and Shari Suzuki, mother Rose, brother Clement, sisters Loretta Mah and Priscilla Chan, and a grandchild. Hisao Haraguchi, also known as "Pepper" and "Harry," 74, of Las Vegas, formerly of Honolulu, a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Korean War and a retired electrician, died May 31. He was born in Pepeekeo, Hawaii. He is survived by daughters Deanna Haraguchi-Villamor and Karen Muramoto, son Rex, two brothers, two sisters, five grand- children and three great-grandchildren. Charles Kazumi Hayata, 32, of Honolulu died Sunday in Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. Henry Hayselden Sr., 70, of Hilo, a retired Mauna Kea Beach Hotel musician and former Grayline Hawaii tour bus driver, died July 5 in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Kamaoa, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Eve D.; sons Henry "Hank," Anthony C. and Steve; hanai daughter Wanda Louis; brother Harry; and three grandchildren. Beatrice Alicia Wahi'ika'ahu'ula Shingle King, 89, of Kehena, North Kohala, founder of Kehena Ranch, died Friday at home. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by son Thomas D. "Tim" Jr., daughter Cynthia K. Sorenson, brother James C. "Butter" Shingle, sisters Muriel "Sis" Sutherland and Louise Stevenson, and three grandchildren. Services are pending.
