The competition is open to amateurs of all ages and skill levels. Golfers with certified USGA Handicap Indexes will compete as four-person teams in a scramble-type format.
The winners will advance with their respective host PGA Club Professional to the sectional championships. The sectional winners then move on to the national finals in October at Walt Disney World.
The fee to enter is $100 per person and includes green fee and cart, one dozen Strata golf balls, and a $50 Hapuna Golf Shop gift certificate test-drive incentive.

The Buick Scramble is the world's largest amateur golf tournament, with over 100,000 participants annually. More than 2000 local qualifying tournaments are expected to take place from now through the summer months.
Real winners at Waikoloa golf tournament
The team of Michael Paulo, Renee Paulo, Roy Tokujo, Ryan Tong and Paul Brown fired a net 56 to win the eighth annual Dolphin Days golf tournament at the Kings' Course at Waikoloa on June 29.The real winner of the tournament, however, was the Hawaii Shriners Hospital for Children and the Pacific Marine Life Fund.
In its eight-year history, Dolphin Days -- which also included a luau, silent auction and the Great Waikoloa Food, Wine & Music Festival, has generated more than $200,000 for the two entities.
