Ships depart to participate in RIMPAC exercises off Kauai

Lt. j.g. Taylor Clark waved yesterday as the USS Tarawa headed out of Pearl Harbor on its way to RIMPAC exercises. The Tarawa is the largest ship to participate in RIMPAC this year, as carriers are currently deployed in various missions worldwide.
