They come, they see, they eat ... for a good cause. Every year, thousands descend on the Honolulu Civic Center grounds to help Easter Seals raise funds by chowing down on food prepared by some of Hawaii's best-known and best-loved restaurants. EAT UP
Purchase strips of scrip and trade 'em at various booths for the likes of ahi steaks, Caesar salads, fruit and veggie salsas, pizza slices -- and let's not forget desserts, desserts, desserts.
For diversion from all the noshing at the eat-a-thon, there'll be entertainment, cook-offs and cooking demonstrations throughout the event.

>> Time: 5 to 10 p.m.; repeats 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday
>> Admission: $3, to benefit Easter Seals
