Everyones A Critic
'Lilo & Stitch'
>> "The story is about an alien that is created by a scientist. The alien is to be destroyed, but escapes. He crash-lands on the island of Kauai. He gets into mischief and trouble as he lives on Earth. It is a great show and a must-see." -- Daniel Akana, seventh-grader at Kamehameha Schools>> "(It's) a really good movie. Some parts are sad (and) some parts are funny. The part I like was when Stitch said, 'Ohana means family. Family means no one gets left behind.' I think this movie is for all ages because it's such a cute movie." -- Jessica Barut, ninth-grader at Kapolei High
>> "It was nice to be familiar with some of the little details about Hawaii throughout the movie. It was also good because there wasn't too much pidgin. Everyone, especially locals, should see it." -- Dee Ann Yamashita, UH student
>> "A promising film -- looks and sounds like Kauai. The spark of Lilo for Stitch, and the tart dash of Ving Rhames' (voice) as an ominous social worker, reduce some of the inevitability from the movie. The volcano (on Kauai!) spoils an otherwise suspenseful scene, however." -- Susan Jaworowski, attorney
'Minority Report'
>> "This was a good movie that kept me awake through the 2 1/2-hour story. It is always interesting to see how the future may be, but also scary because of what technology can and will do. The movie was mysterious and it kept me guessing." -- Dee Ann Yamashita, UH student
