Lloyd Paredes held his 19-month-old son, Hunter, yesterday prior to the Byodo-In Temple rededication ceremonies at Valley of the Temples in Kaneohe. The temple grounds recently were renovated after acquisition from a new management firm on Oahu. A celebration included taiko drumming, a lion dance and a Buddhist blessing.
