Baptista and Leonarda B. Palting; brothers Ricardo, Rodrigo and Nemesio Mateo; sister Lolita Dela Cruz; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Daryl Benedict Bicoy, 54, of Kaunakakai, an employee at Maui Community College, died Thursday in Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. Placido Bumanglag, 94, of Pepeekeo, Hawaii, a retired Hilo Coast Processing Company cane truck driver, died Thursday at home. She was born in Badoc, Ilocos Norte, the Philippines. She is survived by sons Reuben and Richard; daughters Mabel Ishii, Helen Andres and Mary Tomas; brother Alejandro; sisters Petronila Baldovi and Lorenza Gamulo; 28 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Margaret Chiyoko Date, 89, of Honolulu, a retired executive secretary, died Wednesday in Honolulu. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by daughter Mary and sister Alice H.D. Matsushima. Bernard Paahao Kapeliela, 66, of Kohala, Hawaii, a truck driver and mechanic and a member of the Hawaii Army National Guard, died Tuesday in Kohala Hospital.
