Members of Halau Keali'i O Nalani, coached by kumu hula Keali'i Ceballos of Los Angeles, performed a combined auana dance last night at the 29th Annual King Kamehameha Hula Competition at the Neal Blaisdell Center. The event continues through today, starting at 1 p.m.

A synchronized swimming group known as Mermaids Hawaii performed yesterday at the Richardson Street YWCA as part of the YWCA's 75th anniversary celebration. Among the mermaids were Res Crighton, front, and Louise Low.
