Investigators from the state Attorney General's Office searched the offices of two Honolulu Airport officials yesterday as part of a criminal investigation into allegations regarding small purchase contracts. Attorney general

According to chief investigator Donald Wong, searches were conducted at the offices and work areas of Dennis Hirokawa, airport maintenance and construction supervisor, and Richard Okada, visitor information program manager.
"The ongoing criminal investigation is looking into allegations of forgery, conspiracy to commit theft, theft and bribery related to small purchase contracts issued by the maintenance division of the state Transportation Department's Airport Division," Wong said in a written statement.
Records from fiscal year 1995 to the present were recovered by investigators, Wong said.
Hirokawa and Okada could not be reached for comment.
