Fine-dining opportunities around the islandsSummer Jam Brewmaster Beer Dinner: Sam Adams beers will be showcased alongside the food of chef Glenn Chu in a four-course dinner, 6:30 p.m. June 26, Indigo Eurasian Cuisine.
The menu includes Seared Hamachi on Angel Hair Pasta (with Pale Ale), Baby Romaine Salad with Dragon Fire Dressing (Weiss), Grilled Beef Tenderloin (Boston Lager), and Café au Lait Cake (Creme Stout). Cost is $48. Call 521-2900 by June 21.
White asparagus on display: Chef Duccio Orlandini showcases white asparagus on the June prix-fixe menu at Donatoni's Italian restaurant in the Hilton Waikoloa Village. Each month, Orlandini selects one seasonal item for special treatment on the menu.
The four-course meal includes an asparagus and prosciutto appetizer, fettuccine tossed with shrimp in asparagus purée, veal scaloppini in Chardonnay basil sauce with asparagus and Champagne mousse (no asparagus there). Cost is $56. Call 808-886-1234, ext. 54.
