Dancers from Hanagasa-Ondo Aiko-Kai made their way down Kalakaua Avenue yesterday afternoon during the Pan-Pacific Festival Matsuri parade. The festival, which began Friday and ended yesterday, featured displays of Japanese culture.

Mehee Park, 15, of the Agape Mission Baptist Church in Palolo, cheered for the South Korean national soccer team last night as they played the United States in the World Cup. In South Korea, 60,000 fans were, just like Mehee Park, rooting for host team South Korea, proudly calling themselves the "Red Devils." The United States tied South Korea 1-1.
