Libraries launch reading program
The Hawaii State Public Library System will kick off its young adult summer reading program on June 10 at libraries statewide.The free program will run until July 13. Seventh-graders through high school graduates can register for the program and receive a Z-Reader card, which makes them eligible for prizes and drawings.
Statewide drawings include $250, $500 and $1,000 shopping sprees. Branch prizes include a $25 gift certificate to Pizza Hut and a $10 gift certificate to Borders.
