Kelly does Kauai
Buckley Radio's KLLY-FM radio in Bakersfield, Calif., is focusing all its attention on the island of Kauai this week. The "Kelly Kauai Adventure," involves 10 station contest winners and is being led by air personality Joshua Fleming.
Because it may never be safe to have a DJ in charge of anything but talking, station owner Brad Buckley and Program Director E.J. Tyler are sacrificing several days of Bakersfield living to supervise the week-long trip.
The Kelly crowd will enjoy helicopter rides, kayaking, snorkeling, surfing and a luau, according to radio industry Web site AllAccess.com.
