The following is a preview of movies opening this weekend:

Friday

"The New Guy" -- DJ Qualls stars in this teen comedy about a geeky high school student who gets expelled and winds up in jail. His cellmate (Eddie Griffin) coaches him into changing his image as a cool kid for when he gets out and goes to a new school (PG-13).

"Unfaithful" -- Director Adrian Lyne's latest erotic thriller centers on a New York couple whose marriage goes dangerously awry when the wife indulges in an adulterous fling. Richard Gere and Diane Lane play the couple, and Olivier Martinez is "the other man" (R).

Saturday

The following will be sneak-previewed:

"Enough" -- Jennifer Lopez plays a woman who thinks she's found the man of her dreams, but after the wedding he quickly becomes abusive. After she tries and fails to get away from him, she decides that her only option is murder (PG-13).

"Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron" -- DreamWorks' latest animation project is about a wild and rambunctious mustang which, while journeying through the American frontier, develops a friendship with a young Lakota brave and finds love with a beautiful paint mare. Bryan Adams, Matt Damon and James Cromwell are the lead voice actors (G).
