TEMARI Center for Asian and Pacific Arts hosted yesterday's Lei Aloha Contest at Ward Warehouse, in which lei makers crafted creations using flowers, fabric, glass and other art objects. Roselani Oga, with Halau Kawaipuilani, gathered floral elements to make a hair piece. Lei were judged on wearability, creativity, design and craftsmanship.
