Pancakes and more, for Mom

Star-Bulletin Staff

Let's face it: As much as we love Mom, taking the entire family out to eat on her special day (which is next Sunday, in case you've forgotten to plan), can get pricey.

If that's an issue, consider the Mother's Day Pancake Breakfast sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Kaneohe. For a mere $4.50 ($2.50 children), you get pancakes, Portuguese sausage, eggs and rice. No omelet station or carved-to-order prime rib, but you do get a magic show. Kids get balloon animals and will make a Mom's Day craft.

Call 391-4913.

Or try one of these restaurants. But be sure to call first. You don't want to be dragging Mom around town looking for a restaurant with a spare table.

Unless otherwise stated, specials are for next Sunday only.
