George Manukapu Amina, 53, of Kailua-Kona, a bus driver for "The Bus," employee at Gas Express and Wackenhut of Hawaii and U.S. Air Force veteran, died April 16 in Kona Community Hospital. Isabel "Belle" Araujo, 83, of Hilo, retired bartender at Ken's House of Pancakes, died April 17 in Life Care Center of Hilo. She was born in Paauilo. Julius Lee Gunn, 57, of Hawaiian Ocean View Estates, a bishop at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kau Ward, died Monday at home. He was born in Brownfield, Texas. He also was a road construction and maintenance supervisor with Hawaii County. He is survived by wife Diana; sons Julius A., Valdon and Jason; hanai son Kenneth C. Cleveland; daughters Shawnna Davenport and Michele L. Lawton; parents Julius and Bernilla; brothers Stephen and Stewart; sisters Martha Clark and Melody Bridgeman; numerous foster children; and 20 grandchildren. Dwight L. Hamilton, 75, of Hilo, a World War II Army veteran and ranger and interpreter with the National Park Service, died Tuesday at home. He was born in Longmont, Colo.
