Kahuku moved into a four-way tie for third place in the OIA Eastern Division with Castle, Moanalua and Roosevelt at 5-2. The teams are just a half-game behind first-place Kailua and Kalaheo (6-2).

The win gave Mid-Pacific the second seed in the Interscholastic League of Honolulu tournament, which opens Thursday.
