Bag sale at UH thrift shop
Got room? The University of Hawaii Women's Campus Club Thrift Shop is hosting a bag sale today through Friday. Bring your spare change and fill a bag to the brim with clothing, toys and books for $4 or $6.Hours are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, tomorrow and Friday and noon to 3 p.m. Thursday. The shop will be closed Wednesday.
Look for the shop behind the Biomed building opposite the campus credit union.

'Sesame Street' returns
The "Sesame Street Live" gang is coming back, with 14 performances June 13 to 23 at the Blaisdell Concert Hall.This year's story is "Everyone Makes Music," and everyone in the audience will be able to count along with the Count, do the Crumb-A-Rumba with Rosita and Cookie Monster, and visit Elmo's World as they help music teacher Jenny look for her instruments. Along the way, they discover instruments they never knew existed, such as rubber duckies, trash can lids and even their own laps.
Show times are 7 p.m. June 13; 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. June 14, 20 and 21; 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. June 15, 22 and 23; and 2 p.m. June 16.
Tickets are $11 and $15. All opening-night seats are $11. Call 591-0150 or charge by phone at 526-4400.
Hawaiian Tropic pageant
Just as in an episode of "Wild On," 75 contestants representing more than 50 countries will compete for the title of Miss Hawaiian Tropic International 2002 May 2 to 4 at Turtle Bay Resort.Events begin with a "Budweiser Sunset Beach Party" 6:30 to 9 p.m. May 2. Tickets are $35, and include a meal and drink. A Hawaiian Tropic Luau follows, 7:30 to 10 p.m. May 3. Tickets are $35 and include a meal and a drink.
The 19th annual pageant begins at 7:30 p.m. May 4. Admission is $10. Call 293-8811.
