A 19-year-old man was arrested and charged with robbery Friday in connection with a series of robberies of pizza deliverymen in March and April.

Police are seeking three more suspects. The FBI is expected to release more information about the arrest Monday. The suspects could be facing federal charges, police said.

The deliverymen were robbed at knifepoint of merchandise and cash while delivering pizzas on March 24 and 27, and April 10 and 14.

In the March 27 robbery, the delivery driver said two men robbed him at knifepoint, taking money and pizza at 10:54 p.m. at Davenport and Pensacola streets.

On April 10 a 22-year-old deliveryman told police he was making a delivery on Davenport Street at about 9 p.m. when a man got into his vehicle, brandished a large kitchen knife and took the driver's wallet and cash that had been collected from pizza deliveries. The robber forced the driver to drive around the Makiki area, then drop him off at Davenport and Piikoi streets, police said.

On April 14 two suspects robbed a 31-year-old deliveryman. He told police he was accosted at about 11:15 p.m. at 1655 Liholiho St. by a man with a knife who demanded money. He said the man grabbed him around the neck and pulled him toward the street, where a second man was waiting.
