Kristine Kahoalii, Hawaii-Hilo softball: The junior pitcher from Fremont, Calif., became the first repeat PacWest Player of the Week this season when she received the conference honor for the second time Tuesday. Kahoalii went 2-0 over the weekend, posting her conference-best ninth shutout of the year, leading the Vulcans in their push for the postseason. TOP PERFORMERS
Kim Balles, Chaminade softball: The senior shortstop from Kaneohe went 9-for-13 at the plate with two doubles, four runs scored and five RBIs, helping the Silverswords to four straight wins last week.
Matey Pampulov and Jan Tribler, Hawaii Pacific tennis: Helped secure two points apiece in the Sea Warriors' 5-1 victory over previously undefeated Brigham Young-Hawaii. Each was part of a victorious doubles team and then went on to singles wins.
Adrienn Hegedus, Brigham Young-Hawaii tennis: The freshman did it again last week, giving up only a single set in three matches at the PacWest conference tournament. She swept Heather Lane of Montana State-Billings in the first round before surrendering a set to Kelly Yamasaki of Chaminade.
