Boys

>> Christopher Balatico, Mililani baseball: Struck out nine and gave up just one hit over five innings in the Trojans' 18-0 win over Nanakuli. He also went 3-for-3 at the plate and drove in two runs.

Girls

>> Becky Hogue, Punahou basketball: Averaged 24 points and 12 rebounds in the Buffanblu's wins over Sacred Hearts and Maryknoll. She scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds against Sacred Hearts and had 27 points and 13 boards against Maryknoll.

BASKETBALL

>> Megan Abbott, Punahou: Recorded seven steals, five assists and six rebounds in two games in place of injured starter Elyse Umeda.
>> Amber Lee, McKinley: Scored 25 points, grabbed eight rebounds and had three steals in a 64-28 win over Kaiser. She also scored 17 points in the fourth quarter and overtime in a 48-47 win over Farrington.
>> Chyloh Rodrigues, McKinley: Drained eight 3-pointers in the Tigers' wins over Kaiser and Farrington.
>> Kara Morita, Hawaii Baptist: Scored 33 points to lead the Eagles to ILH Division II wins over Hanalani and Punahou.
>> Lehua Yap, Nanakuli: Hit for 29 points to lead the Golden Hawks to a 58-51 win against Mililani.
>> Dalia Solia, Kaimuki: Scored 19 points in the Bulldogs' 45-38 win over Farrington and hit for 20 in a 45-44 victory over Kailua.
>> Ashley Takata, Kalani: Scored 20 points in the Falcons' 51-47 win over Roosevelt.

BASEBALL

>> Justin Humalon, St. Louis: Went 3-for-4 with a triple, home run and four RBIs in an11-5 win over Damien.
>> Ryan Matsumoto, Maryknoll: Scattered five hits over six innings to earn the pitching win in the Spartans' 2-1 win over Mid-Pacific.
>> Zach McAngus, Kamehameha: Gave up five hits and threw just 74 pitches in a 7-0 win over Pac-Five.
>> Matthew Terukina, Roosevelt: Went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI in the Rough Riders' 3-1 win over Farrington. He also hit a grand slam in a 14-4 win over Kalani.
>> Brent Tanigawa, Moanalua: Went 4-for-5 with two triples and drove in two runs in a10-7 win over Kalani.
>> Chevy Teves, Waianae: Went 4-for-4 with three RBIs in an 8-2 win over Pearl City.
>> Spencer Nakamura, Kahuku: Drove in five runs in the Red Raiders' 14-13 victory over Kalaheo.
>> Jarid Kawamoto, Kailua: Went 6-for-9 with two doubles and 2 RBIs in wins over Kaiser and Farrington.
golf
>> Amanda Wilson, Waiakea: Shot a 1-under-par 71 to win last week's BIIF girls tournament at the Waikoloa Village golf course.

TRACK AND FIELD

>> Timothy Flowers, Leilehua: Won the 100- and 200-meter races and the long jump and high jump at the OIA Western Division championships.
>> Mei Li Nickles, Mililani: Won the 110- and 300-meter hurdles, anchored the winning 4x100 relay team and finished second in the 100-meter dash to help the Trojans win the girls team title at the OIA Western Division championships.

>> A male runner will have to run the 100-meter dash in 11.3 seconds (hand-timed) or 11.54 seconds (electronically timed) to qualify for the Hawaii High School Athletic Association track and field championships. The rest of the qualifying standards are available online at www.sportshigh.com.
