BUNCHES OF BEARS

FL MORRIS / FMORRIS@STARBULLETIN.COM Prevent Child Abuse Hawaii and Partners for Prevention held their annual Teddy Bear Roundup yesterday at Ala Moana Centerstage. Bianca Del Prado, Krystle Salazar and Nikki Enriques of the International Order of the Rainbow Girls helped collect bears and other stuffed animals. The event was part of an educational series to observe Child Abuse Prevention Month. The goal was to collect 2, 935 teddy bears for the number of confirmed cases of child abuse in Hawaii last year.
