Nicanor Ramos Anastacio Sr., 93, of Honokaa, Hawaii, a retired Hamakua Sugar Co. employee, died Wednesday in the North Hawaii Community Hospital. He was born in Ilocos Sur, the Philippines. He is survived by wife Faye, son Nicanor Jr., daughter Arlyn, sister Claudia Calivoso and seven grandchildren. Services: 7 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Call after 6 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday. Burial to follow at the Honokaa Catholic Cemetery. Casual attire.

Rufino Bagona Baron, 97, of Honolulu, a retired Gay & Robinson Sugar Plantation employee, died March 14 in Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Santa, Ilocos Sur, the Philippines. He is survived by wife Perlita, sons Robert and Jon J., daughter Maria Guieb, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Debra Jean Boyman, 45, of Honolulu, a homemaker, died March 15 in St. Francis Medical Center. She was born in Honolulu. William Wah Yen Chang, 81, of Honolulu, a retired machinist for the federal government, died Wednesday in Straub Clinic & Hospital. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Pearl T., daughters Jade H.Y. and Hope H.M., brothers Walter K. and Raymond M., sister Edith C. Tom, and a grandchild. Services: 12:30 p.m. Friday at Borthwick Mortuary. Daniel Paul Dimmitt, 48, of Hilo, a computer consultant, died Wednesday in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in California. He is survived by ex-wife Elayne, daughters Daniella and Darshana, father Richard, and mother Marlene Salmon. Services to be held on the mainland.

Walter Pua Hoopii Sr., 83, of Kahakuloa Village, Maui, a retired carpenter, died March 22 in Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Maui. He is survived by sons Clarence, Norman, Leroy, and Gilbert; daughter Bernice Kekona; brother John Ah Puna; half-brothers Ronald and Herbert Kenolio and Richard and Solomon Hoopii; sisters Susan Keahi McLov and Mable Woods; half-sisters Cyrile Kealohanui, Abigail Morris and Alice Hoopii; 22 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Elizabeth Dias Pagan, 76, of Makawao, Maui, a homemaker, died Monday in Maui Memorial Medical Center. She was born in Paia, Maui. Martin M. "Butch" Rego, 58, of Waipahu, a retired construction foreman, died March 22 in Waipahu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by parents Martin and Loretta; sons Derrick and Reyn; daughters Danny, Dez and Randy; 13 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Harry Kenneth Sirkus, 47, of Haiku, Maui, a Landmark Maui Properties realtor and broker, died Wednesday at home. He was born in Los Angeles. He is survived by wife Lori, mother Marion, step-daughters Jesica C. and Stacey L. Warren, and sisters Alexandra Genova and Denise Sirkus. Services: 2:07 p.m., April 13 at his home with a tree planting ceremony to follow. Donation in his memory suggested to The Animal and Rescue Sanctuary.

Mary Elizabeth Welzel, 90, of Kahului, a retired farmer, died March 24 at home. She was born in Dorchester, Iowa. She is survived by son Gale, daughter Carole and sister Stacia Strabley. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Call after 10 a.m. Lei only.
