Elizabeth Mae Barth, 85, of Honolulu died March 18 in Honolulu. She was born in Renton, Wash. She is survived by husband Lawrence, son Larry, sister June Frost, brother George Shearer and grandson Travis. An informal reception will be held at the Hawaii Kai Retirement Center, Phase 1, at 1:30 p.m. April 7. Her body was donated to the University of Hawaii medical school. No funeral.

Rita Matilda Chu, 80, of Kaneohe, a homemaker, died Thursday in Castle Memorial Hospital. She was born in Heeia. She is survived by husband Walter W. Sr.; sons Walter W. Jr., Roland V.K. and Daniel K.; and sisters Ella Chai and Cecilia Ceballos. Services: 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ann Catholic Church. Rufino "Roy" Orate Guibo, 88, of Ewa Beach, a retired stevedore with McCabe Hamilton & Renny, died March 22. He was born in Camiling, Tarlac, the Philippines. Services: 7 p.m. Wednesday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, makai chapel. Call after 6 p.m. Burial: 10 a.m. Thursday at Mililani Memorial Park.

Katherine M. Keith, 79, of Mililani Town, a Jones Store retiree, died Wednesday. She was born in Montgomery County, Mo. She is survived by sons Marvin and William "Bill," brothers David and Robert Barnes, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Private services.

Elsie Kaaihala Kamakele Kupahu, 85, of Honolulu, died March 19 in Honolulu. She was born in Olowalu, Maui. She is survived by sons Henry and James, sister Florence Kong Kee, six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ordenstein's Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Teodulo "Doro" Abveila Llanto, 68, of Ewa Beach, a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean War, died March 21. He was born in Ewa. He is survived by sons Lance and Linus; daughters Renita Ann Hataishi, Regina Rivera, Rana Llanto and Ruth Maglangit; brother Jacinto "Joe"; sisters Susanna "Susan" Panganoran and Estrellita "Inday" Galang; and seven grandchildren. Alice Kagako Nishio, 83, of Honolulu, a retired seamstress, died last Saturday in St. Francis Medical Center. She was born in Waipahu. She is survived by husband Mitsugi; sons Calvin and Karl; brothers Albert, Ralph and Stanley Kikkawa; sisters Mildred Katayama and Grace Kanda; and five grandchildren. Reuben Joseph Soares Sr., 73, of Honolulu, a retired truck driver, died March 18. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Martha, sons Reuben Jr. and Herman, daughters Robin Boykin and Keala Penrose, brother Herman, sisters Mary V. Zodrow and Sylvia Montero, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mililani Downtown Mortuary. James Kiyo Watai, 92, of Hilo, a World War II veteran and a member of the Disabled American Veterans, died March 11 in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Hilo.
