Rod Tam thanked Mitch Kahle yesterday for expressing his thoughts regarding changing Good Friday's status as a state holiday. Kahle, president of Hawaii Citizens for Separation of State and Church, was at the state Capitol demonstrating against Good Friday being a government-endorsed holiday. The organization says that this holiday is unconstitutional.
