Dona Mae Bren, 75, of Kalaoa, Kona, Hawaii, a retired comptroller at Island Import Co., died Saturday at home. She was born in Glen Lake, Minn. She is survived by husband Noel, son Christopher, daughters Cathie Amelotte and Susan Warner, hanai son Joey Robertson and four grandchildren. Ernest Carvelo, 76, of Kailua, a retired Hawaiian Telephone Co. employee, died March 22 in Castle Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu.
