Trunk show in Kaimuki

Wabi-Sabi will be hosting June Hee's spring trunk show "Winter's Past, It's Spring at Last," from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the shop. Featured will be new prints incorporating elements of spring and nature in linens anyone could wear.

Wabi-Sabi features crafts, gift items, home decor and specialty food items created by 13 individuals. The shop is at 1223 Koko Head Ave. #4, on the second floor of the Okumura Building. The store's regular hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays to Fridays, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays. Call 734-3693.

Fasharade at Hilton

St. Francis High School Alumni Association will honor three distinguished alumni at its 19th annual Fasharade, Sunday at Hilton Hawaiian Village, with a boutique and craft fair from 8:30 a.m. to noon, and luncheon followed at 1 p.m. by a fashion show with special guests Angela Perez Baraquio, Miss America 2001; Billie Takaki, Miss Hawaii 2000; and Kim Willoughby, University of Hawaii Volleyball MVP, among the models.

This year's theme is "Modeling Mentors." Honorees are:

>> Maile Suzanne Goo (Class of '75), whose position with the University of Hawaii Pacific Biomedical Research Center includes minority training for minorities underrepresented in the biomedical sciences.

>> Sister Alicia Damien Lau (Class of '62), Vice President of the NC Service Corporation which will be breaking ground on a skilled nursing facility for medically fragile children, the first of its kind in Hawaii.

>> Sister Agnes Vera Hino (Class of '42), an educator for more than 40 years who is working as an ESL teacher.
