The following is a preview of movies opening this weekend:

"Blade II" -- Expectations are high that this Wesley Snipes vampire sequel will have more, uh, bite, with director Guillermo del Toro at the helm ("Cronos," "Mimic" and "The Devil's Backbone"). Based on the Marvel Comics character, the half-man, half-vampire fighter aligns himself with a high-powered team of vampires to take on a greater evil that may eradicate both humans and bloodsuckers (R).

"E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" -- It's been 20 years since the release of Steven Spielberg's classic tale. The re-release has been sanitized of scary firearms and also features never-before-seen footage (PG).

"Sorority Boys" -- Three boorish college boys strapped for cash solve their housing crisis by posing as sorority girls. All goes well until one of them falls in love with the Alpha sister of Delta Omicron Gamma (or D.O.G.). What's a boy pretending to be a girl to do? (R).
