Hubble trouble for
Hawaii drivers?

This opening paragraph in an item from the Associated Press last Thursday raised an intriguing question for Hawaii:

"CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla., >> Astronauts widened the Hubble Space Telescope's eyes to the universe today by installing the most advanced optical camera ever launched."

Do you suppose the state Department of Transportation could borrow some of that technology for its much-disputed camera vans? Maybe it would be good enough to identify beyond question a speeding driver and save a lot of arguments in front of the judge.
