He fought the law,
and the law lost

Ok, it's time to come clean.

I was one of the lucky ones who was nailed by a traffic van back in January. I say lucky because I hired an attorney and my ticket was thrown out on a technicality.

But today I am admitting to doing something rude and obnoxious before I went to court. After getting my gift in the mail, I made a universally recognized obscene gesture as I went by one of the vans.

So, to the unfortunate soul who happened to be sitting behind the camera, I apologize. My intent was to inflict a pathetic act of defiance toward a machine, not its trigger man. But it was wrong, and I promise I will never do that again.

At least, not until I get my next glamour shot in the mail.
