The Office of
We Didn’t Mean It

After only a couple of months, the Pentagon has pulled the pin on their so-called Office of Strategic Influence. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld claimed that the department was created to get "our side's story" out there, but reports surfaced last week that their plan was to feed foreign news organizations false information.

So, the government agency that tells lies has vanished.

Or -- are they lying about that too?

But -- if they're telling the truth, does that mean they're not doing their job properly?

Or -- if they're lying, don't they deserve promotions and job security?

But -- truth be told, if they're gone, how will we know when the government is lying?

Never mind. I think we know the answer to that question.
